Track athletes compete in divisionals
HARRISON – Harrison sent 11 athletes to Western C Divisionals in Missoula on May 16 and 17.
Six athletes placed in various events and will compete at State C in Laurel on May 24 and 25.

BOZEMAN – On Saturday, May 11, Harrison, Ennis, Sheridan and Twin Bridges track teams competed at the District 11 - 12C Track Meet in Bozeman. Harrison boys’ track team is placed 1st for the second year in a row.
ENNIS—The brand-new lady Mustangs softball team played their second double header of the season on Friday, April 12, ending up with an even 2-2 record.
BOZEMAN—Madison County athletes joined teams from Broadwater, Manhattan, Butte, West Yellowstone and White Sulphur Springs for the kickoff to the 2019 track and field season. Bozeman High School hosted the TFMC Invitational on Saturday, April 6, and hundreds of athletes took advantage of clear skies to log early-season marks.
DILLON—March Madness has officially begun, but while fans were glued to the television watching the selection show for the NCAA’s top 64 basketball teams, maybe they should have been watching the smaller schools duke it out in the NAIA championships.
BUTTE—All eyes were on Great Falls two weekends ago for the state tournament of Class C girls, as Box Elder pulled out a six-point victory over Roy-Winifred 48 - 42 to claim their second straight state title.
TWIN BRIDGES—After being twice delayed due to weather, the Twin Bridges Falcons played a challenge game against the Arlee Warriors in Deer Lodge on Wednesday evening, February 27.
BUTTE – With divisional tournaments taking place all over the state last weekend, the Western C division did not disappoint, with 24 games that featured some upsets and some pretty predictable outcomes.

DILLON—The field of championship basketball teams is slowly being whittled down as the post-season progresses, and three Madison County teams punched their ticket to this weekend’s divisional championship in Butte.

MADISON COUNTY—Regular season high school basketball is over for another year in the Madison and Ruby valleys. Seven matchups took place around the county last weekend, including a banner senior night for the Sheridan Panthers on Friday, February 8.
