SHERIDAN—The Sheridan school board continued deliberations on a potential football co-op with Twin Bridges Schools at its monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 8, ending with a vote that approved moving forward on the proposal in a split on the board of 4-3.
MADISON COUNTY – Madison County basketball teams returned to action last week after classes resumed post-winter break. Twin Bridges was the first to get going, facing off against Whitehall on Thursday, January 3.
TWIN BRIDGES – Before a brief holiday hiatus, area basketball teams played their last games of 2018. The Twin Bridges Falcons and Sheridan Panthers were the first to face off on Monday, December 17, and visiting Twin Bridges kept the strong start to their season rolling.
MADISON COUNTY—The Twin Bridges boys basketball team means business this season, and they held nothing back when they traveled to Three Forks for the two-day Imerys Tournament December 7 and 8.
SHERIDAN—Sheridan and Twin Bridges school districts are weighing a potential football cooperative agreement that would combine the turnout athletes from both schools into a single, eight-man team in coming years.
ENNIS - Four players from Madison County high schools were named to the MHSA All-State Class C volleyball team last week: two seniors from Ennis and two seniors from Twin Bridges.
MANHATTAN—The Twin Bridges Falcons and the Ennis Mustangs continued their post-season play at the divisional volleyball tournament hosted by Manhattan Christian November 1-3. The tournament began on Thursday and was the final step in qualifying for the state championship tournament this weekend.
ENNIS—This weekend brought to a close a race series that might have seemed long to anyone who wasn’t one of the participants.
ENNIS—The Greater Yellowstone Adventure Series continued over the weekend of July 21-22 with its double marathon weekend, the only one of its kind in Montana. The Madison and Big Sky marathons saw their 11th and 4th annual iterations, respectively, and two out-of-towners nabbed three of the four marathon titles between them.
