The Mustangs girls’ basketball team

Ennis girls’ basketball returns to the court as an athletic team with less experience than in recent past years. 

The Ennis Mustangs advanced to the second round before losing two matches in the Western C Divisional Volleyball Tournament at Manhattan Christian School Nov. 7-9.

The Ennis Mustangs clinched the District 12C championship Nov. 1. The two-day volleyball tournament in Twin Bridges led to a championship match between top-seeded Granite High School and second-seeded Ennis Mustangs.

Gearing up for State this weekend, Madison County cross country teams traveled to Townsend on a windy and cold Saturday for the Rusty Raisland Invitational.

The Capital City 7 of 7 meet was canceled on Thursday due to snow on the course. Sheridan and Twin Bridges cross country teams were able to take the weekend off as a result of this cancelation. Both teams will run in Townsend on Saturday.

Last week, the Mustangs defeated the Drummond Trojans. They continue their winning streak with two victories against the Lima Bears Oct. 1.
