Mustangs kick the Panthers

The Sheridan Panthers hosted the Ennis Mustangs in a conference game that hasn’t been played for seven years. The game was a must win for both teams to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Mustangs came out hot and scored 26 unanswered points in the first quarter and it looked to be a blowout.

Eagles swoop in on the Mustangs

Manhattan Christian slammed Ennis on the court Sept. 25. Their spikes dove with aggression into the gaps in the Mustangs’ formation. Somewhere in the third set, the Mustangs started filling the gap better. The hard spikes from the Eagles continued to be a struggle, but Ennis had redeeming moments.
