The Ennis Mustangs have been looking forward to hitting it off against the St. Ignatius Bulldogs for weeks now. We started off on top with a 47 yard touchdown pass from Clintin Buyan to Nicholas Johnson to go up 6 to 0. We then added to that with another pass (51 yards) to Johnson.
The Falcons played a strong tournament last weekend in Manhattan Christian. The team beat Drummond, Superior and close cross-county competitors, Ennis on the path to second place. Only the first place team, Manhattan Christian, was able to knock out wins against the Lady Falcons.
The District 12-C high school basketball champions are under investigation for misconduct.
ENNIS—Balmy late-summer weather matched Ennis High School’s homecoming theme of a tropical luau: parade floats on Friday, September 7 featured palm trees, leis and water guns on an 80-degree afternoon.
ENNIS – At a special meeting of the Ennis school board on May 24, the board approved moving forward with a $270,000 bid to expand the current weight room and add storage space at the high school, a project that would expand the building by 1,975 square feet.

ENNIS – The Ennis School District’s custodial staff breathed a sigh of relief Wednesday evening, May 16, when the school board voted to continue working with them to find ways of reducing costs, rather than contract an outside firm to clean and care for the schools.
