Misconduct investigation underway

The District 12-C high school basketball champions are under investigation for misconduct.

The misconduct allegation, involving the Twin Bridges boys’ basketball team, allegedly occurred on the bus ride home from West Yellowstone Feb.8. Names have not been disclosed, but according to Twin Bridges’ School Board Chair, Steven Janzen, the investigation is close to complete. The school board will vote on a decision soon.

“At this juncture, and in order to protect the privacy interests of all parties involved in these allegations, the District will not be commenting further about the alleged incident or any students that may be involved. The safety, health and well-being of our students is of paramount concern to the District and going into the basketball tournaments we are taking extra measures to protect the interests of all of our students. We hope to have some reso- lution to this issue in the very near future,” Janzen said in a statement.
