BURN BAN IN MADISON COUNTY

A Madison County burn ban went into effect at noon July 15.

Fireworks and open burning are not allowed on private lands due to dry conditions. Two-thirds of the county is in a severe drought. The Madison County Commissioners signed the ban July 14.

Planning Board disapproves of 40-foot waterway construction setback, approves PUD

The Lee’s Pool Subdivision Public Hearing was originally scheduled Jan 29. The applicant, Moonlight Basin, requested to postpone this hearing to address topics in the staff report including a Geotech analysis, and resubmitted part eight of the preliminary plat which discussed a request for a stream construction setback reduction.
