With well #1 finishing it’s third round of chlorinating, Sheridan Town Council discussed the town’s water distribution system during its July 8 meeting. Also, the council approved a cost of living adjustment increase of 3 percent to town employees.

Phase one of the Madison River Foundation’s Three Dollar Bridge Riparian Restoration Project, consisting of constructing a wooden plank-bridge trail over the wetland area, was completed on June 3. The second phase of installing and removing electric fencing started the next day.
ENNIS – The Ennis-Big Sky airport will receive more than $9 million in federal grant money to improve its runway.
The runway repairs will bring the airport to Federal Aviation Administration standards for facilitating its current plane-traffic.
