ENNIS — A 17-year-old male was attacked by a bear south of Ennis on Sunday. He fortunately survived the attack with relatively minor injuries.
The teen and his family were visiting their cabin in Wolf Creek, about 30 miles south of Ennis, on the east side of the Madison Valley. He was out looking for shed antlers in the area.
ENNIS – The Madison River Negotiated Rulemaking Committee will hold its next meeting March 25 and 26 in Bozeman at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks regional office. The meetings will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an opportunity for public comment at the end of the meeting.
