A high of 12 degrees made for a chilly state cross country meet. On Saturday, Kalispell was snowy and cold, but runners powered through.

Madison County confirmed 10 new COVID-19 cases in two days, Oct. 18-19. The county has 18 active cases as of Oct. 19.
The Ennis Mustangs started last week with a win against the Harrison Wildcats Oct. 12. But the Wildcats came back to win against the Sheridan Panthers Oct. 14.
The Ennis Mustangs defeated Lone Peak High School 54-14 during their Homecoming game.
The Ennis Mustangs ran the cross-country ski trail in West Yellowstone Saturday, Oct. 3. “It was a gorgeous day with cool temperatures and pace was quick for a high school 5K and a middle school approximately 2.5K,” Coach Melinda Legg said.
Construction on the Giem Bridge was completed Sept. 24 and is expected to be operating by next week.
At least 111 people were quarantined in Madison County due being in close contact with positive COVID-19 cases, as of Sept. 29.
Madison County Cross Country traveled to Dillon and Livingston last weekend.
Twin Bridges Cross Country, coached by Hannah Konen, headed to the Dillon Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26. The 5,000-meter men’s race included 75 runners and the 5,000-meter women’s race included 57 runners.
Madison County’s COVID-19 case rate continues to flatten as the state’s rate increases.
