Going the distance

Ennis’ cross-country competitors took advantage of a sunny and wildfire smokeless Saturday in Boulder at their first meet of the season on Aug. 28.

Meet highlights:

JV Sophomore Wylie Connor with a third-place finish: 20:48. Freshman Finley Knapton with sixth-place finish: 23:28.

Varsity Junior Eli Beardsley: 19:50 Senior Tait Olson: 20:15 Junior Genesis Boyles: 24:31 Freshman Sky Boyd: 25:46

With their first meet under their belts the runners now prep for the Belgrade Invite in Bozeman on Sept. 2 where the middle school runners will also compete.
