Courthouse bond, Virginia City Resort Tax, School and hospital districts on ballot
What to know about the ballot for the upcoming Election, there will be a question about the Virginia City Courthouse bond, a question about the Virginia City Resort Tax and a question about the Ennis School Building Reserve Levy. The Madisonian will be covering these topics over the next few weeks.
Election Day will be on May 6, 2025. All elections are by mail only, according to Paula McKenzie, Madison County Election Administrator. Ballots will be mailed out on April 16, 2025.
If you did not receive your ballot, please contact the Clerk and Recorder’s Office (406)-843-4270. Ballots may be returned to the following location at the following times:
Prior to Election Day, Clerk and Recorder Office, 103 W. Wallace St., First Floor, Virginia City, MT 59755. Time, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Election Day, Time, hours 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
If you are planning to mail in your ballot please allow enough time for it to arrive.
