Wrapped in love

The Ruby Valley community came together on Thursday, Nov. 10 at Sheridan Elementary School to honor veterans. Students and community members alike chipped in to make the event memorable. Students of all ages created artwork to decorate the lunchroom and tables for the attendees. Lilly Smock and Jazz Marie Fast Horse sang the national anthem. Kindergarten students presented coloring pages for the veterans. To cap it off, the Patchwork Pals Quilt Guild presented Quilts of Valor that they created to Ruby Valley veterans from different branches of the armed forces.
