Twin Bridges Legion presents awards

Members of American Legion Post 31 in Twin Bridges presented awards to Twin Bridges Middle School students on March 20 and treated the students with an ice cream social. Earlier this winter, Post 31 organized a 7th and 8th grade government survey contest followed later by a Constitutional essay contest. A panel of judges completed their difficult task to choose winners and announced the following awards:

7th grade Government Surveys: 1st Zeke Redfield, 2nd Reid Johnson, 3rd Wiley Stockett,

7th Constitutional Essays: 1st Ian Fredrick, 2nd Marleah Carter, 3rd McKenzie Stack.

8th grade Government Surveys: 1st Kara Dale, 2nd Samuel Konen, 3rd Ethan Wayland.

8th grade ConstitutionalEssays:1st Francesca Pollorena, 2nd Kara Dale, 3rd Samuel Konen.

All 1st place winners advance to the state contests, with results to be released at a later date. The Shack in Twin Bridges donated space and ice cream for the contests.
