Red Bluff Field Day in Norris

“It is exciting to see that there is such interest in Red Bluff as we welcomed 51 members of the public to the research station last month. With the support of a Western SARE grant, Dr. Jane Mangold, Dr. Tim Seipel, and Dr. Lisa Rew lined up twelve speakers to share their research and experience throughout the day. Attendees learned how to identify grasses, estimate forage production, the value of perennials during winter grazing, cheatgrass management and more,” summarized Kaleena Miller, Agriculture and Natural Resource Extension Agent.
