The road to state

It was a long but successful day for Ennis’ long-distance runners at the Belgrade XC Meet in Bozeman on Sep. 2. Freshman boys started the day at 10 a.m., with competitors pounding the pavement throughout the day, ending with middle school girls at 2:15 p.m.

Crossing the finish line

Madison County’s Class C competitors had a strong showing at the Montana High School Association Class AA-C State Track and Field Meet held May 27-29. Here are the athletes that made the top 10.

Men’s 100 Meters #2: Twin Bridges’ Chase Fitzpatrick – 11.53

On track for success

The Montana State Class C track and field competition takes place May 28-29 in Missoula. The top seven athletes from each divisional event move on to the grand finale. Here’s a list of the talented Madison County athletes that made the cut.

Falcons to State

Madison County’s Twin Bridges team is playing in the 2020 State C Boys Basketball Tournament.

The Falcons are competing for the championship title at the University of Montana Adam’s Center March 11-14. Their first game is against Fort Benton Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

FALCONS TO STATE TOURNAMENT

Twin Bridges claimed a spot in the 2020 State Basketball Tournament.

The Falcons challenged the Gardiner Bruins for second place in the 2020 Western C Boys Division- al Basketball Tournament and won (49-41). Twin Bridges and Manhattan Christian will compete in the Class C State Tournament in Missoula March 12-14.
