Panthers get stung

White Sulphur Springs beats Sheridan in volleyball

The Sheridan Panthers volleyball team lost to White Sulphur Springs in five sets Sept. 11.

They almost had the Hornets, winning the first two sets. But White Sulphur Springs came back strong in the final three sets. Desaray Tipton and Caitlyn Galiger accounted for all of the Panther’s points from the serving line. Tipton also carried the team in assists, while Galiger dug deep in the defense with seven digs. Mackenzee Fabel also had a good match with five kills for the Panthers.
