Madison County K-12 Schools will be in session with in-person instruction by the end of August.
Madison County Sanitarian Van Puckett spoke with each Madison County school superintendent about plans for the upcoming school year.
“They’re all doing a great job working toward the same common goal,” Puckett said. “Each one is looking at the health and wellbeing of the students and staff.”
Two Madison County locals graduated from the Montana Youth Challenge Academy June 27.
Kim Hellwinkel, second grade teacher in the Twin Bridges School District, was recognized as the most inspiring teacher in Montana by the Sanford Programs, established by philanthropist T. Denny Sanford to support teachers around the nation.
Twin Bridges School Board met Tuesday, June 9 to discuss summer programs, the 2021 school year and adding a special education teacher to the District.
At a meeting of the Ennis Arts Association on June 8, 2020, the members in attendance at Lion’s Club Park reluctantly voted to cancel the 25th annual Madison Valley Arts Festival, scheduled for August 1, 2020 in Peter T. Park. It is rescheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2021.
