2019 World Strides Rocktober Fun Run/Walk
On your mark, get set….Rock and Roll….and run! On October 12, 2019, 74 runners/walkers came out to participate in the second annual World Strides Rocktober fun run! The run was hosted by the Ennis World Strides students in order to help raise funds for the “2021” science field trip. As per the theme, several runners donned rock and roll attire, including the entire Blazer family. Cassidy Straszewski was not only the first female to cross the finish line with a time of 31:41, but was the overall top runner. Steve Knack was the first male, 2nd overall to cross the line with a time of 32:23. Thanks to all who participated in this family friendly event while supporting our students.
